Wind Storm!!
Towards the end of April, shortly after Easter, there was a wicked wind that blew through here. Of course, the weather people seemed to call for it the day before, issuing tornado warnings in our area and such. But it wasnt until the next day that the wind blew through. Our house was ok. We didnt lose power, just a few branches off the trees here and there and our little coverall garage flew onto its side. Other than that, no big deal.
Nate Goes Stir Crazy
Much like his dad, if Nate cant go outside for long stretches at a time (say like winter, or you know, when it rains for four days straight), he gets a little …nutty. So daddy channeled that energy into a productive endeavor.
Good, Clean Fun
I forgot that I had the wipes box on the floor. And then I put Evan near the wipes box and went to the washroom. Doesnt take a hurricane long to blow through my living room, that’s for sure.

The Heins Boys, April 2011
I was doing so well updating every month! Eeg, time is flying past me at lightening speed. We had an interesting month in April. Busy for some, crazy for others. Its always an adventure. Jon was busy taking a course for firefighting, and I think he enjoyed it and I know he’s happy he did it. We had Easter this month and cousin Claira’s first birthday! Evan started at daycare one day a week with Nate and he has done really well there. Nate loves having his brother with him at daycare.
A story for you all

Nate: Daddy!! My mitts are all wet!
Jon: Why are your mitts wet, Bubba?
Nate: My mitts are all wet and muddy!!
Jon: Why are your mitts wet and muddy?
Nate: Because they are.
Jon: But why?
