“Sleepovers”

Nate’s latest obsession is pretending to have sleepovers in his brother’s room or Mommy & Daddy’s room with his brother. Anything that allows him to drag his pillow and blanket into any room and lay down.

Makes for some cute pictures.

Quality Control

No baking would be complete without a quality control department. As you can see, the sugar cookies were a big hit.

Blankie

Nate drags around a teddy bear. Its starting to look kinda sad and saggy. If the CHEO picnic doesnt get rained out this year, I’m seriously considering a visit, just to have the bear restuffed. I know I could do it on my own, but it would be something that Nate would be all over and we could check off our list of things to do with the kids.

The Heins Boys, November 2011

November was a relatively calm month. Evan had a wicked cold at the beginning of the month that he kindly shared with his mother…so we had a few sick days. And there was baking. Lots and lots of baking. I’m always shocked at the shear volume I can accomplish between November 1st and December 24th. I’m happy to do it, I just would like to harness that energy for the other however-many days of the year and use it to do other things.

Ok, who let the Chilton in?

Evan has learned where the cereal cupboard is in our kitchen. If it is not zippy-tied shut, he will go in, grab the most delicious looking cereal and bring it out and ‘ask’ Mom to pour him a bowl.

He ate us out of Corn Pops last week.

Halloween 2011

The Heins’ family version of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Though there was neither crouching nor hiding in our version of the story.

OH! CUTE!

Look what Dad found!!

On the side of the road! And brought home for his boys to play with!
