Strong Like Bull
We may only be four months old, but we’re STANDING (with some help from dad)!
Christmas 2012
It was a hectic one but the boys had such a great time. It really makes a difference having kids at Christmas. We had a blast with them.
Nate’s Christmas Concert
He had been practicing for a month. We were all excited to see his first performance. And he looked so handsome and grown up in his white button down shirt.
Christmas Parade
Every year, I’ve taken the boys to the parade to watch Daddy in the fire trucks (and see Santa). This year, I called in reinforcements because I have this picture in my head of one boy going one way, another going a second and the third in the stroller rolling into the middle of the street. I’m not saying it would happen, but I can’t say it wouldn’t either.
My Life as a Hockey Mom Begins
Nate started skating in September. Because we didn’t have enough to do already.
In all honesty, this has been a daddy-son time for Jon, Nathan and Evan. I took the two older boys once and it was an epic disaster. Evan fell in the parking lot, I tripped over him, fell and skinned my knee and arm and brought Nate to the ground with me. There was no ice or snow or bump in the asphalt to blame it on. I’m just that accident prone. The boys still talk about it.
Anyway. Pretty sure Nate already skates better than his mother. God knows, he’s more graceful!
Jason’s First Hospital Trip
The thing with having three is that the older two bring EVERY bug home. It’s even worse than when Evan was a baby. Then it was just daycare germs. Those are manageable. Now it’s daycare germs AND school germs. Jason has had three colds and spiked a minor fever before he was three months old. Hence the hospital trip.
Dino Hats!
A friend of Aunt Sami’s knits these hats and I had to have one for each boy. Sam started it off, getting one for Jason:
Nate Starts School!
I didn’t plan this well. One week from when we brought Jason home from the hospital, I put Nate on the bus for his first day at school. Or….we were supposed to. The saving grace in all this was that Jon was still home.
One Night…
I check on the boys during the night. Especially since I was getting up to feed Jason anyway. One night, I went into their room and found this:
