Wind Storm!!

Towards the end of April, shortly after Easter, there was a wicked wind that blew through here. Of course, the weather people seemed to call for it the day before, issuing tornado warnings in our area and such. But it wasnt until the next day that the wind blew through. Our house was ok. We didnt lose power, just a few branches off the trees here and there and our little coverall garage flew onto its side. Other than that, no big deal.
The farm, however, had quite the adventure. Grandpa Wayne had power lines (and the brick they were attached to) rip right out of the house. Three BIG trees came down on top of the garage, but stopped just short of flattening the garage and its contents…thank goodness. No one was hurt and we took a wander out there on the weekend for some pictures.
