The Heins Boys, October 2010

Family Pictures

Just a couple of good ones that should be shared

Museum of Nature

Having never been to the museum of nature, my brother and I decided to take Nate there and see what he thought of it. The dinosaur bones didnt really appeal. Nor did the massive skeleton of a whale. But the mammals, birds and fish exhibits were a big hit.

Hmmm

Nate may have a wee bit of OCD.

Run for the Cure 2010

Most years, I manage to do the Run for the Cure. This year, Nate went with dad to Grandpa’s farm to help fix some piece of machinery that had died and Evan and mom ran for the cure. Well, more like leisurely strolled, but you get the idea.

A Conversation with my oldest

Me: Nate, its time for nap

Nate: I dont want nap

Me: Well, you need one. Come on, nap time

Nate: A few minutes

Me: No Nate, you had a few minutes

Nate: I dont want nap

Me: Well, you need a nap. Let’s go

Nate: *big sigh* Mommy, you drive me crazy

I didnt do a very good job at keeping a straight face and lost any footing I had in that argument right then and there. God help us when that child is a teenager. No one will win an argument.

I left Nate alone with his brother

Metcalfe Fair, 2010

After Nate’s nap today, we packed the boys up and headed into the bustling metropolis of Metcalfe to enjoy the fair. Nate had a great time this year. Evan tolerated it, as he does most things right now.

Yay Exersaucer!

Evan is now old enough and strong enough to use the exersaucer! I think its a hit.

Too Cute not to Post
