Nathan Wilmer & Evan Michael Heins

Evan came home on Tuesday afternoon from the hospital. We all picked Nate up at daycare, stopped in at the fire station to see the fire trucks and at Mike and Colleen’s to say hi. Grampa and Gramma brought over dinner and uncle Mike, Aunt Carla, Claira, Aunt Kaylee and James came over to celebrate Evan coming home.

Gramma Cary was over on Wednesday night while Daddy went to training at the airport. She had dinner with us, gave Nate a bath (there were many many giggles) and had a cuddle with Evan once Nate was asleep.

Thursday and Friday, Evan and mom hung out at home and waited for Nate and Daddy to get home. Mommy started getting stir crazy, so she was really thankful that we went to visit with Mike and Colleen and Briar on Friday night. Nathan got to drive the bulldozer and Mom and Evan visited with Colleen and Briar. Pretty sure it saved her sanity.

Saturday and Sunday, the four of us hung out. Nate and Daddy went on a quick trip to the gravel pit to pick up some topsoil for Mike’s lawn (Grampa took them in the truck, highlight of Nate’s day!) but other than that, its been a quiet week. Evan sleeps a lot, eats a lot and poops a lot.

Major plans for this week coming: Doctor’s on Tuesday, a day of errands in the city at some point and hopefully a visit with Colleen and Briar. Nate will be taking a field trip with Gramma Cary to see the construction trucks at the Kemptville Library.
