Oh what a month. Between Christmas baking, Christmas parties, Christmas itself…wow. Busy month. The boys were fantastic, even with all the schedule interruptions (ironically enough, as I write this, Jon is arguing with Nate over bedtime and there is an epic hissy fit in progress….and his schedule has been fairly consistent the past two days….weird).
Anyway, we had a wonderful December. The boys ‘helped’ mommy decorate the tree. Mommy learned that having an 18-month old in the house with a Christmas tree is similar to having a cat in the house with a Christmas tree. Thankfully we only lost one ornament, and that was due to dog tails, not little boy hands.
We were all spoiled rotten for Christmas. It took me a couple of days before I figured out where I could put the new toys without tripping over them. In fact, some of them went into a drawer to be broken out some crappy weather day this winter. So many toys, so little time.
On another note, we’ve started calling Evan “Studly”….its something about the way he walks, or the hair….but it seems to suit.
